Ed Posh Shootout (Golf/Dinner Party) Raises Over $30,000 for Scholarship Fund

The annual Fundraiser golf event on Friday July, 16 at the Village Links Golf Course in Glen Ellyn, IL, was attended by 167 golfers in a morning and afternoon foursome shotgun scramble format. Nice summer weather prevailed during the day and into the evening.
The overall winner and recipient of the coveted ED POSH CUP was the foursome of Vito Sisto, Mike Mager, Mike Scola and Oscar Dominique. The ladies division was won by the foursome of Barbara Best, Lisa Leamy, Cindy Russo and Diane Gaspar. The 4-some of Michelle Pond, Brad Stefan, Dave Ascher and Carolyn Ascher won the mixed flight. Congratulations to the winners for a great scramble round.
The SHOOTOUT – SHOT IN THE DARK – a $2,000 prize was won by Andy Pole, who came in closest to the pin with 16 pre-qualified golfers competing in this event!
The golf event was followed by the dinner party attended by 300 guests. Great food catered by My Chef, Naperville, entertainment, live and silent auctions, raffle drawing, added to another memorable evening.

Congratulations to the 17 area youths who will be attending school this fall as an Ed Posh scholar. Since the founding in 1996, the Ed Posh Scholarship Fund has awarded $419,000 in scholarships to 62 area students.
