16 high school scholars collectively receiving $80,000 in assistance for college

Ed Posh Scholarship Announces Four New Scholarships for 2012

Since 1995 we have provided over $500,000 in scholarships to 70 Posh Scholars and 53 have graduated. In 2012 there will be 16 scholars in school collectively receiving $40,000 in assistance.

Cass Hoffmeister, chairman of the scholarship committee announced the four new 2011 scholars, saying "It was a pleasure meeting so many well qualified candidates. Selecting the final four was a difficult task."

The new scholars for 2012 are:

Kaitlyn Curtis

Kaitlyn Curtis
a senior at Glenbard South High School, will attend the University of Illinois and is seeking a degree in Music Education & Performance.

Patrick Duffy

Patrick "DJ" Duffy
a senior at Glenbard South, will attend Xavier University to pursue a degree in Business Management.

Anthony Herwaldt

Anthony Herwaldt
a senior from Glenbard West High School, will attend the University of Illinois to study Engineering.

Tapan Sheth

Tapan Sheth
a senior at Glenbard South plans to pursue a career in Finance & Accounting at the University of Illinois.
