16 high school scholars collectively receiving $80,000 in assistance for college

Ed Posh Scholarship Announces Four New Scholarships for 2017

Since 1995 we have provided over $728,000 in scholarships to 93 Posh Scholars. In 2017 there will be 16 scholars in school collectively receiving $64,000 in assistance. The annual scholarship stipend per scholar was increased by 60% to $4,000 from 2017 onward!

Cass Hoffmeister, chairman of the scholarship committee announced the four 2017 scholars, saying “It was a pleasure meeting so many well qualified candidates. Selecting the final four was a difficult task.”

The new scholars for 2017 are:

Luke Angelillo

Luke Angelillo
a senior from Glenbard South High School, will attend Brown University to study History and Education.

Sophia Cvengros

Sophia Cvengros
a senior at Glenbard West High School, will attend University of Iowa to pursue a degree in Broadcast Journalism.

Grace Gibson

Grace Gibson
a senior at Glenbard South High School, plans to pursue a career in Biomedical Engineer at Marquette University.

Samantha Nardella

Samantha Nardella
a senior at Glenbard South High School, will attend University of Illinois with a Psychology Degree and a double minor in Spanish & Gender Studies.
