The Ed Posh Scholarship Award has just been

increased by 60%

to $4,000 per student per year (up from $2,500 per year).


Ed Posh Scholarship Announces Four New Scholarships for 2010

Since 1995 we have provided over $419,000 in scholarships to 62 Posh Scholars and 45 have graduated. In 2010 there will be 17 scholars in school collectively receiving $42,500 in assistance.

Cass Hoffmeister, chairman of the scholarship committee announced the 4 new 2010 scholars, saying "It was a pleasure meeting so many well qualified candidates. Selecting the final four was a difficult task."

The four new scholars for 2010 are:

Jonathan AdkinsJonathan Adkins: a senior at Glenbard West High School, will attend the North Central College and is seeking a degree in Special Education.

Hnin Snow ZinHnin "Snow" Zin: also a senior at Glenbard West, will attend the University of Illinois to pursue a degree in Pre-Dentistry.

Mitchell McNeilyMitchell McNeily: a senior from Glenbard South, will attend Texas Christian University to study Business and Finance.

Kimberly SchultzKimberly Schultz: a senior from Neuqua Valley High School, plans to pursue a career in Nursing at Bradley University.
