The Ed Posh Scholarship Award has just been

increased by 60%

to $4,000 per student per year (up from $2,500 per year).


Ed Posh Scholarship Announces Four New Scholarships for 2012

Since 1995 we have provided over $500,000 in scholarships to 70 Posh Scholars and 53 have graduated. In 2012 there will be 16 scholars in school collectively receiving $40,000 in assistance.

Cass Hoffmeister, chairman of the scholarship committee announced the four new 2011 scholars, saying "It was a pleasure meeting so many well qualified candidates. Selecting the final four was a difficult task."

The four new scholars for 2012 are:

Kaitlyn CurtisKaitlyn Curtis: a senior at Glenbard South High School, will attend the University of Illinois and is seeking a degree in Music Education & Performance.

Patrick DuffyPatrick "PJ" Duffy: also a senior at Glenbard South, will attend Xavier University to pursue a degree in Business Management.

Anthony HerwaldtAnthony Herwaldt: a senior from Glenbard West High School, will attend the University of Illinois to study Engineering.

Tapan ShethTapan Sheth: a senior at Glenbard South plans to pursue a career in Finance & Accounting at the University of Illinois.
