Since inception in 1995 and including 2023 the scholarship fund will have provided $1,160,000 to 114 students. Thanks to your generosity, in 2023 there will be 16 scholars in school collectively receiving $80,000 in assistance.
Laurie Gustafson, chairman of the scholarship committee, announced the four new 2023 scholars, saying “It was such a pleasure for our committee to meet so many impressive students. Beyond excellent grades, their commitment to service was exemplary. We all feel optimism for the future with the quality of students who applied for these scholarships. The decision is very difficult as we see so many talented candidates.”
Lauren Field
a senior from Glenbard South High School, will attend the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana with a double major in History and Economics and a plan to pursue a career as a Lawyer.
Dominic Pasdo
a senior at Glenbard South High School, will attend Illinois State University to pursue a career in Elementary Education and hopes to coach youth sports as well.
Umaimah Siddiqui
a senior at Glenbard West High School, will attend the University of Illinois in Chicago to pursue a career in Biomedical Engineering.
Brian Uvodich
a senior at Glenbard South High School, will attend Iowa State University to pursue a career in Business.
